This is not a movie review b/c this movie does not come out until November 26. And I hate to jinx this movie....but there are 4 reasons why I'm pretty much convinced it's a sure thing:
1. Hugh Jackman

3. Set in Australia
4. Baz Luhrman directing
Let me translate: one of my top ten + one of my fave actresses + my favorite place to visit (next to Paris) + the director of my all time favorite movie....are my expectations too high?

I'm glad I have you to keep me informed - I had NO idea Baz Luhrman was doing another film. WOuld you be speaking of Moulin Rouge as your fave? I will put this on my netflix cue for dvd. I know. I'm a lame parent now and never get to the movie theatre.
Yes Amy--Moulin Rouge. This is one I think you should make the effort to see in the theater! Seriously!!!!
I just so happen to be totally excited for the release of this movie as well. I hope there are parts set in Perth. :)

Yay - you're back! My comments: I well up every time during "Dancing Queen" in Mamma Mia. I also loved SATC but can't ever tell anyone I go to church with because they'd be shocked that I loved it so much! ;) But I loved that it was such a tribute to friendship. My favorite moment was when Charlotte yelled "NO!" to Big after Carrie hit him with the flowers. Such an amazing moment (another cry fest for me.) I also really loved Secret Life of Bees and Iron Man. Robert Downey Jr is to me what Leo is to you. Sigh.
I just watched this and really liked it! I was enjoying the adventure part of it a lot, and the lost generations storyline - I get a little tired of overly-dramatic love stories. But Hello! Hugh Jackman!! He's amazingly ruggedly handsome. Nuf said.
